Donna has 20 years of professional massage and bodywork experience. She founded Reconnecting 2005, first in Marienville then settling in Clarion in 2006 - remaining in the same building until the events of 2020. In 2022 she re-established her business - Reconnecting - to an office space in Leeper, PA.
Training
Donna graduated in 2002 from Career Training Academy in New Kensington, PA with 600 initial hours of training in massage. In the decades to follow she would continue to hone or expand her skills in alternative healing well before Pennsylvania established a board with continuing educations requirements by attending various seminars and weekend trainings.
Over the last 2 decades she has gained training and experience in additional Therapeutic Massage techniques, Deep Tissue Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascia Release Training, Reflexology, Thai Yoga Massage, Shaitsu Massage, Cupping Massage and Facial Massage Cupping, Crystal Therapy, Dry Room Spa wraps and facial massage, and Reiki.
Not wanting to limit herself to massage she also completed training and received certification as a Yoga Instructor in 2013 through Mahadevi Yoga Studio; and in 2014 she completed a course on personal fitness that included training for NASM Personal Trainer certification through California University of Pennsylvania but ultimately decided the training better suited her for bodywork and chose not to sit for the exam.

2006-Present
Reconnecting was originally established in Marienville before settling and growing in Clarion until 2020. In 2020 Donna reverted back to housecalls until she re-established her new location in Leeper, PA in February 2022.

Began offering readings online, initially in online forums before opening an online site.
2014
Donna oversaw the Student Massage Clinic at Pittsburgh Technical College (then known as Pittsburgh Technical Institute or PTI) for two quarters. Over the summer she taught Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy and Chair Massage, as well as Eastern Medicine for one quarter.
2007-2008
For a short time Donna offered her services and experiences at Knox Family Chiropractic.
2004-2006
Betty was the first to offer Donna an opportunity to grow in experience at Wellness Health Options.
2002-2004
Like many bodyworkers Donna began her experience with offering house-calls.
Additional Work/Services of Reconnecting
While Reconnecting was still in Clarion the office/studio one student from a Butler school and 2 different students from Pittsburgh Technical College for internship.
Since Massage licensing requirements took effect in 2010 Reconnecting has also hosted several continuing education credits classes, including Ethics as well as CPR renewal, for area Massage Therapists.
2020 Impact
Although 2020 has changed her business path she remained steadfastly committed to wellness and healing through touch and energy-work through housecalls and occasional distance sessions when applicable before re-establishing an office space in Leeper, PA
